Brill United vs Crendon Corinthians

We played well yesterday despite being a bit nervous. I think we could improve on challenging more. In the first half there were some unlucky goal misses and great saves by Eddie and Henry. Sam Theo and we’ll did some great tackling and getting the ball back in our possession. Mummy thinks we had the ball in thier half for a lot of the game! There was a lucky goal from Crendon. Gabe and barnaby did well on the wings and man of the match harpo was very strong in mid field. Freddie was very sneaky with his dribbling, well done. Thank you to all our parents for supporting us. Thank you Toby and Phil xxx

Brill United vs Marlow Town

Wow. What a game! We played so well but in the end we were narrowly defeated - noooooo! 😖

Brilliant saves by Eddie and Henry - both brave and strong in nets. Theo defended well and got the ball down the line on many occasions. Arlo dispossessed the Marlow attackers with ease and Sam was a brick wall in central defence - great clearances. Harry really had the bit between his teeth, especially in the second half, busting his way through the defence. Freddie scored a clever lob over their keeper for our first goal and the travelling fans went wild! 🎉 Sid made solid runs down the wing and amazing tackles. Gabe’s trademark runs down the righthand side were brilliant as usual. Harpo at centre forward scored a late goal going bottom bins. Once again, the tense away fans went nuts! Ben got the ball in the back of the net for the first time for Brill, but the offside flag robbed him of his glory! Next time, Ben, next time! Overall, it was a great game, devastated with the score but we made a brilliant come back towards the end of the match and we were so unlucky not to get the equaliser.

We need to keep our chins up, be proud and come back stronger next week. Thank you to coaches Phil and Toby for all their support. A well-deserved man of the match award for Henry 👏

Well done Brill!
